“Baby alpaca” is the name of the finest grade of alpaca fibre, not the age of the animal — alpacas are shorn once a year, like sheep.

Warmth

Mid-weight (about 2.8 lb) — warm on the bed in cool weather and easy to use as a sofa throw year-round.

At 77 x 91 in (196 x 232 cm) it covers the top of a queen bed and also works as a generous throw over a large sofa.

Care

  • Hand wash cold with a mild detergent (or delicate cycle in a mesh bag)
  • Do not bleach or tumble dry
  • Lay flat or hang with support to dry, out of direct sun
  • Steam or low iron with a cloth if needed
