Extra Large. Southwest Aztec Pattern. Handmade in Ecuador.

Cachavi is an extra large baby alpaca blend blanket in an Aztec Southwest pattern, made for the bed or the living room.

It is silky soft and warm, and made to be used every day rather than kept for best.

Why you’ll love it

  • Baby alpaca blend – silky soft and warm
  • Extra large – about 90 x 77 in, for the bed or the sofa
  • Aztec Southwest pattern – an Andean design that adds character to a room
  • Everyday blanket – decorative on the bed, warm when you need it
  • Made in Ecuador – artisan work from the Andes

Details

  • Material: 80% baby alpaca / 20% acrylic — the acrylic keeps the piece soft, washable and in shape for years
  • Size: 77" x 90" (195 x 230 cm)
  • Weight: approx. 1,400 g / 3.1 lb
  • Features: Aztec Southwest pattern
  • Made in: Ecuador — hand-woven by artisans

“Baby alpaca” is the name of the finest grade of alpaca fibre, not the age of the animal — alpacas are shorn once a year, like sheep.

Warmth

Mid-weight (about 3.1 lb) — warm on the bed in cool weather and easy to use as a sofa throw year-round.

Size & fit

At about 90 x 77 in (230 x 195 cm), it covers the top of a full or queen bed, or works as a large sofa throw.

Care

  • Hand wash cold with a mild detergent (or delicate cycle in a mesh bag)
  • Do not bleach or tumble dry
  • Lay flat or hang with support to dry, out of direct sun
  • Steam or low iron with a cloth if needed

Handmade, so no two are identical. Each piece is woven by hand in Ecuador. Colours can be a shade lighter or darker than on screen, and pattern placement and finish vary slightly — that is the signature of a real artisan piece, not a flaw.

Shipping & gift. Dispatched from Ecuador within 1 business day. US orders travel FedEx Express — typically at your door in 3–5 business days, duties covered. We ship worldwide by express courier (DHL, FedEx or UPS), typically 3–10 business days; local duties and taxes may apply outside the US. Every order includes a small surprise from Ecuador.
