Guaranda - Double Density Baby Alpaca Wool Throw Blanket / Sofa Cover - Queen 94 x 65 - Silver Gray

Double-Density Weave. Silver Gray. Handmade in Ecuador.

Guaranda is a queen-size throw blanket in a double-density weave of 80% baby alpaca and 20% acrylic, in a refined silver gray with subtle natural heathering.

A dense brushed finish (about 314 GSM) adds warmth and structure without bulk, and the edges are cleanly stitched, with no fringe. The neutral tone fits Scandinavian, rustic, boho or minimalist rooms.

“Baby alpaca” is the name of the finest grade of alpaca fibre, not the age of the animal — alpacas are shorn once a year, like sheep.

Warmth

Mid-weight (about 2.7 lb) — warm on the bed in cool weather and easy to use as a sofa throw year-round.

Size & fit

At 94 x 64 in (240 x 162 cm) it covers the top of a queen bed, works as an oversized sofa throw or folds at the foot of a king bed.

Care

• Hand wash cold with a mild detergent (or delicate cycle in a mesh bag)
• Do not bleach or tumble dry
• Lay flat or hang with support to dry, out of direct sun
• Steam or low iron with a cloth if needed

Handmade, so no two are identical. Each piece is woven by hand in Ecuador. Colours can be a shade lighter or darker than on screen, and the texture varies slightly — that is the signature of a real artisan piece, not a flaw.
