“Baby alpaca” is the name of the finest grade of alpaca fibre, not the age of the animal — alpacas are shorn once a year, like sheep.

Warmth

Mid-weight (about 2.0 lb) — warm on the bed in cool weather and easy to use as a sofa throw year-round.

Size & fit

At 95 x 69 in (242 x 175 cm) it covers the top of a queen bed and works as a generous sofa throw.

Care

• Hand wash cold with a mild detergent (or delicate cycle in a mesh bag)
• Do not bleach or tumble dry
• Lay flat or hang with support to dry, out of direct sun
• Steam or low iron with a cloth if needed

Handmade, so no two are identical. Each piece is woven by hand in Ecuador. Colours can be a shade lighter or darker than on screen, and pattern placement and finish vary slightly — that is the signature of a real artisan piece, not a flaw.
