An ascot flat cap in genuine Panama straw, hand-woven in Ecuador from 100% natural toquilla straw, fine grade, in white or natural straw.

Despite the name, Panama hats come from Ecuador. They are plaited from the leaves of the paja toquilla palm and took the name of Panama because that is where they were shipped from in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The cap is about 4.3 in (11 cm) high.
