Reversible Black and Ivory. Knit-Look Baby Alpaca Blend. Handmade in Ecuador.
Shiripuno is a reversible poncho in a baby alpaca, cotton and acrylic blend — deep black on one side, gentle ivory on the other, with Aztec-style geometric accents.
The fabric is woven to look like knitwear: soft, warm and breathable. Wear it loose for an easy look or wrap it closer on colder days, and turn it to the other side when you want a change.
Why you’ll love it
Two looks in one – reversible deep black and gentle ivory
Baby alpaca-cotton blend – soft, insulating and breathable
Knit-look weave – the texture of knitwear in a woven poncho
Aztec geometric accents – with fringe
Hand-woven in Ecuador – artisan work using traditional weaving techniques
Hand wash cold with a mild detergent (or delicate cycle in a mesh bag)
Do not bleach or tumble dry
Lay flat or hang with support to dry, out of direct sun
Steam or low iron with a cloth if needed
Handmade, so no two are identical. Each piece is woven by hand in Ecuador. Colours can be a shade lighter or darker than on screen, and fringe and pattern placement vary slightly — that is the signature of a real artisan piece, not a flaw.
