Kawallu is a hooded unisex pullover poncho woven from a baby alpaca wool blend, black and white with a horse pattern.

At about 730 g it is warm on cool days without bulk, soft to the touch and easy to layer over a sweater. The cut fits sizes M to XXL.

“Baby alpaca” is the name of the finest grade of alpaca fibre, not the age of the animal — alpacas are shorn once a year, like sheep.

Warmth

Mid-weight (about 1.6 lb) — warm on cool days and evenings, easy to layer over a sweater when it gets colder.

A poncho has no sleeves or seams to fit, so one size fits almost every adult; your size mainly changes how much of you it covers.

  • Hand wash cold with a mild detergent (or delicate cycle in a mesh bag)
  • Do not bleach or tumble dry
  • Lay flat or hang with support to dry, out of direct sun
  • Steam or low iron with a cloth if needed
