The camo poncho, done in alpaca: a soft, warm hooded layer in mustard gold with forest-olive and black camouflage, a button neck and fringed hem.
Inti means “sun” in Kichwa, the language spoken by our weavers in Otavalo.
We took the cut of our best-selling western poncho (wide, fringed, with a hood and a single button at the neck) and wove it in a gold-and-olive camouflage pattern. It belongs outdoors: at hunting camp, on an early fishing morning, by the fire pit or at a festival, and it goes straight over a jacket when the temperature drops. The warm gold ground keeps it bright, the olive and black keep it rugged, and it works just as well with denim, leather and boots in town.

“Baby alpaca” is the name of the finest grade of alpaca fibre, not the age of the animal — alpacas are shorn once a year, like sheep.

A poncho has no sleeves or seams to fit, so one size fits almost every adult; your size mainly changes how much of you it covers.

If you're 5'4": hem just below the knee, arms covered to mid-forearm.
If you're 6'2": hem at the knee, arms covered past the elbow.

Handmade, so no two are identical. Each piece is woven and dyed by hand in Otavalo, Ecuador. Colours can be a shade lighter or darker than on screen, and fringe and pattern placement vary slightly — that is the signature of a real artisan piece, not a flaw.
